i hav a form in html . I am taking the contents of the form in a jsp. i am matching the form values with the database and if the registered name is already in use i redirect him back to the front page . now i want all the values which he has entered to remain as it is in the redirected page and require the user to only enter the invalid form fields. i dont know about client side scripting . how du i achieve the same in jsp or servlet
Hi sushant put all the values coming from form in session object if they match the required crieteria at the end instead of redirecting add the form code itself in jsp code.. and put the values in appropriate fields taking them from session object if they are not equal to null i think this should solve the problem..
