Hello Everyone. I am trying to venture into some exploration of JSP's and Servlets. I have some basic stuff done, and I understand the basic concepts of JSP's and Servlets. Now, what I want to figure out is security. Anybody know of some good information you can point me at? What I am talking about is if someone fills out a form with information that should be kept private and it is to be emailed to a vendor, how would I keep that information secure? The first obvoious format to me is to use POST for the METHOD so that at least the information is not located in the url at the top! I know there has to be a lot more to it than this. I always thought you could tell when you entered a "secure" site by the little picture of a lock in IE. I don't know, can someone point me to some resources here? Thanks, Jason SCJP
