A jsp is compiled the first time it is called by a client..and yes it is compiled into a servlet. manav

Thanks manav so that means JSP is not precompiled,right?? and servlets are precompiled. but what happens when a servlet is included in nother one, will it have to be reloaded.i guess some servers have that option, but otherwise what happens?? thanks again neeti
