Shabbir,
I would suggest, you do some homework yourself, before joing any institute. You are already at the right forum to lern JSP and Servlets. If you have any query, most people in this discussion forum would help you out.
As regards reading resources, the Sun Java Site is an excellent resource.Apart from that, you may consider buying one book to start with on every topic and then look to broaden your knowledge going through the other books.
This is the list of books for your reference :

  1. JSP and Servlets

  2. Instant Java Server Pages, Phil Hanna
  3. Instant Java Servlets, Phil Hanna
  4. Pure JSP, James Goodwill
  5. Java Servlet Programming,Jason Hunter
  6. Enterprise JavaBeans

  7. Mastering Enterprise JavaBeans, Ed Roman
  8. JDBC,JNDI,JMS,etc

  9. Refer to online resources like Java Sun Site

  10. Hope this helps.

Of course, reading a book is nice but nothing replaces experience. Anytime I learn a new API, I try to write a program using the API and maybe discover any gotchas along the way.
