Java Servlets compared to ASP? How can it be compared.... seems that ASP does the same job and its easier?

You are right, they are the same ,but usually , they compare jsp VS asp. I don't have that much knowledge about asp, what I know is that jsp is "better" because it is platform-independent as it is a java technology ,but asp works under microsoft environment. I can specify more info if you are interested. but if you want to decide which one to use , check your requirements.

And BASIC is easier than Java. But, like ASP, it doesn't scale as well in terms of project size, performance, and maintainability.
