iam new to servlets . idownloaded jsdk2.0 . i had jrun3.o . no java webserver with me. i wanted to compile a simple servlet. but i got a compilation error that class javax.servlet not found in import. i set the classpath c:\jsdk2.0\lib\jsdk.jar.
then also no solution. what should i do?

1. Erase all traces of the JSDK from your system
As far as I know, Sun stopped development of this package quite a while ago.
2. Download the Tomcat package from jakarta.apache.org
3. Install as per the simple instructions
4. If using Win98, increase the Environment memory space because Tomcat uses lots of environment variables.
