problem in jsp Add rotator?

Hi
As there is Addrotator component in Asp is there any facility in jsp, if not what can be done?

Maybe if you defined Addrotator people would have some idea what you mean.

No there is not default support for what is normally called an 'Ad rotator' in JSP. You can read what the JSP specifications support if you are curious.
To solve this problem you can always build the software yourself. If you can program it in Java you are set. Else check out JSP Insider and JSPin to search around for pre-built ones.

An Ad Rotator would make a great custom taglib, or you could just do it as a JavaBean with application scope.

I had to face the similar problem a few weeks back. What I did was create a String array (myPictures[])that contains a list of jpg files I wanted to display, say 20 of them, then write a random generator that returns a int value (i) between 0 and 19, then myPictures[i] is the one to display.
