I have j2ee installed. I just created a HelloWorld.java servlet. Do I need to install TomCat in order to run this. Originally, I thought I did, but then told me a server came with j2ee. Thanks.

No need. J2ee has its own server. Which OS are you using? It doesn't work in WIN98. I tried and soon gave it up! If you use WIN98 go for orion j2ee server.
It is small and light weight, at the same time fully functional J2ee implementation.

I'm running Redhat 7.0. (linux). I really thought that I needed tomcat for some reason. I've got to figure out how to compile these servlets and get them working.

How do I get a servlet to work? I've created a simple hello world servlet, and it compiles fine, but then I don't know how to get it in my browser??? I have j2ee running.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
