hi ,
There is a file that I want to upload into the database.
The file is a binary object image file or doc file anything
Now the upload is happening in all cases in both the
browsers IE and Netscape in case of an image/gif file
But in case of a doc ,.prz ie a temp file while the upload
is happening in IE, in Netscape , it is just giving an
alert message - 'Document contains no data' on click of the
submit button and halts.
What is the reason for the failure to upload?
What can be the solution ?

"Nilanjan B",
The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please log in with a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.
