I'm trying to create a program similar to an FTP program. It has two boxes with 3 buttons between them. You select a file from the left box. Then when you click on a button it updates a table and is displayed on the other box. I'm having a hard time with the interactions of calling a java function on the server side using a call in my JSP.

The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please log in with a new name which meets the requirements.
Thanks.
