hi, anybody here who knows about performance of jsp/servlet in comparison to asp ? you can do more or less the same with jsp/servlet and asp. am i right in this ? dont get nervous....i wont do any asp, i stay with java and im happy. i just had a discussion with a friend and he claimed that asp is faster.
any hints or links ? thanks karl

There is a rather impressive benchmark at: http://www.orionserver.com/ I don't know of anything that ASP can do that you can't do with JSP or servlets. Bill
JSP/servlet is more developed in terms of capability: jtag, java beans, xml, etc. Certainly servlet is very powerful. I worked with asp a little 9 month ago, it is simple to use and efficient. But the capability is not as much as jsp/servlet. I like to here more commnents. Ruilin
