Hi, I am new this part of the JavaRanch forum.I want to install JavaServlet Development Kit(JSDK) but don't know from where I could download .I have JDK1.2 already installed .Can anybody guide me in this matter .I am sorry if this kind of mail has already been posted in this forum. Thanks in advance Sandeep
For servlet and JSP development you DO NOT want the JSDK - Sun transferred all development of the "reference" version of servlet and JSP to the Apache organization over a year ago. Go to: jakarta.apache.org and download the Tomcat package. Version 3.2 implements the current Servlet API 2.2 and JSP API 1.1 - version 4.0 (still in beta test) implements the next version of these APIs. Installation is very straightforward, just unzip the package using the built-in directory structure. Bill
