Hi guy's
currently i am doin a course in e-commerce and i have finished with html,java, and advance java, there are still more subjects to learn but i am loosing interest in programming i just want to be a webdesigner so if anyone could please tell me WHAT MAYBE THE BEST SUBJECTS OR COURSE TO LEARN TO BECOME AN EFFECTIVE WEBDISIGNER? thank you.hope someone will respond.

You will need to know Adobe PhotoShop, and all of the Macromedia products like Flash, Fireworks, etc. You will also need to have good aesthetic ability. Keep in mind that as a result of the economic downturn there are many very talented and experienced web designers that you will be competing against. My opinion is that if you can write code and design, you have a competitive advantage over the WYSIWYG only designers.
