I am Using Jsp, I want to Store System Date in a variable. when I Assign a variable of either Object Class or String Class.
It gives me an error "Cannot create static reference to non-static value". I want to Ask how to create non-static variables.
and store Date in it.
Please guide me...

JavaRanch has a Naming Policy In order to be entered in the drawing for the book giveaway, your name must meet this policy. Please reregister with a correct name.

Could you post the offending code? For some reason I'm not following the problem here.

I Hope This Helps
