I was just wondering if the prefix attribute in the taglib directive should be identical to the content of the <shortname></shortname> element in tld, and that is how the container link one particular prefix of library to the actual library?
Thanks.

Cameron:
I just tested this:
tld file has: <shortname>util</shortname>
and the prefix attribute in the taglib directive:
prefix="util7" and it works fine.
I guess they can be different. IMO, its just a namespace
you setup with the prefix attribute so the the TagName
is uniquely identified.
HTH.
