Hi everybody!
Iam using JavaWebServer. While creating taglib(customtags) in jsp iam getting
import javax.servlet.jsp.tagext not found and
class SimpleTag extends TagSupport not found.
Can anyone tell me how to get these packages. Actually iam setting my classpath with servlet.jar,jspengine.jar,xml.jar.
So i will be thankfull if anybody help me in this.

Java Web Server is two generations out of date and no longer supported by Sun as far as I know. Sun donated all the code and some engineers time to the Apache organization for futher work. Go to for the current Tomcat 3.2 which supports JSP 1.1 - including taglibs.
What I want to know is why people are still using JWS when the fact that everything got transfered to Apache is plastered all over the web site?
