Tomcat causes server to crash !

I am running an application on Tomcat 3.2.1 on Windows 2000 Server. I have to put lots of info onto the session for re-use. That includes lots of Hashtables and Vectors. The problem I am facing is after traversing a few pages (that is after a few Hashtable objects are put into the session), Tomcat causes the Windows Server to crash !
I need most of the session objects till the end of the session. How can I manage the session objects and avoid the Server machine from restarting?

The only time I have heard of Tomcat "crashing" windows, it turned out to be flaky database drivers. Otherwise Tomcat will quit with some time of error message.
