I'm facing problems uploading GIF/JPEG files to my Tomcat Server running in LinuX.
I'm using a class called "MultipartRequest" provided by Oreilly publication's "Java Servlet Programming" .
The thing worked fine in Windows Platform with both Jawa Web server and Jakartha-Tomcat but when we shifted to a Linux server it started giving exceptions.
The problem seems to be specific to GIF/JPEG and related image formats as upload works fine for text files. In the case of the above mentioned image files, only partial upload is happening. ie: the image size gets truncated once it reaches the server.
Plz give me an immediate reply.
Thanx in advance.
regards,
vinod
