Hi,
I have 2 select boxes on a
jsp. The first is populated with a list of "available services" which are retrieved from a database when the page is loaded. The second, "selected services" is initially empty, until the user selects a service. When the user selects a service and hits the "add" button, I want the service to appear in the "selected services" select box and to be removed from the "available services" select box.
Thus, a number of services can be selected. However, I also want to be able to pass the selected services from page to page. More specifically, when the user has selected all the services they want, they acn choose to save the info. by clicking "save" which brings up a confirmation page, listing the services they have chosen.
If, from the confirmation page the user wishes to modify his or her selections (by clicking "modify"), I want the previous page to be displayed with the previously selected services still selected.
How can I pass this varying number of parameters back and forth? Once the user has made an entry and committed it to DB, he or she can do another entry and if I use a session bean, the page doesn't refresh for subsequent entries (i.e. the selected services for the previous entry are still displayed)
Thanks for your help,
Ant
