I would like to know that whether we can access a local hard disk using java script. If yes how to do it???

1. JavaScript questions are more likely to get good answers in the HTML/Javascript forum
2. Only to a limited extent. Otherwise we'd have more viruses running around on the web than we do!

its possible priti ,
just go to netscape.com and u will find the real power of javascript!! its possible to access even the file reading and writing with a security enabled javascript(like Trusted applets!!)
