JavaServlet-CLASSPATH problem

I'm using jsdk2.1 on my Windows 98 PC.It's located in my root directory ie C:\ , I'm also using jdk1.3's javac for generating Servlet's class file. jdk1.3 doesn't require an explicit classpath setting in Win98 Envn. But at the time of compilation of simple .java file(which is servlet code)i'm getting unresolved symbol error-a definite sign of CLASSPATH error. How can i resolve this? I've put my servlet code in the c:\jsdk2.1 directory itself.

Ashutosh,
Your servlet program requires servlet.jar file.
Copy the servlet.jar file from JSDK and paste it in
C:\jdk1.3\jre\lib\ext.
regds.
