Tomcat admin links not working

I have successfully, I think, installed Tomcat on Windows2000 Server. However, many of the links do not work. I've had to edit the source code several times. Is this normal?

try giving http://localhost:8080
u can get few examples n also see if Tomcat works..
else check if u hv install specified JDK directory in JAVA_HOME properly...also check for Tomcat directory in TOMCAT_HOME...
get back if u still hv probs
