Hi all,
This is my first time posting on this Discussion board. I wanted to find an opensource project that used Java which I could participate in. I was going to joing the Dallas SCJD study group Project Teams, but when I tried to register their page said that they weren't accepting any new team members. I would really like to join a project where I could use and further develop my Java skills. I checked out Sourceforge.net and would like to know of any other places I could look. Thanks Alot.
Sincerely,
Jon McDonald

as far as j2ee is concerned:
jakarta is a big one, they have masses of work for you to do
jboss is another one that you might get involved with
both of these are quite hard code but you could start with writing example apps for them if writing servers is too much at this time. They also have docs to write, which while is not programming, will get you up to scratch on the technologies quickly.
