response.sendRedirect() problem

Hello,
My problem is this, I have been using
response.sendRedirect("home.jsp");
in a page that simply logs a user into an application. At the bottom of the page I use the redirect. This seems to have been working fine. BUT, the application was recently put into a dmz and now the redirect just hangs.
Anybody know why this happens and how I can fix this?
Thanx in advance for any help you can provide.

hi,
I think we need more information.
sendRedirect should send an error 302 page to the browser, who should then send a second HTTP request to the "new" resource.
There should not be anything fundamentally different with a 302 than a 200 (OK).

Thanks for the reply.
I seemed to have solved the problem by switching from a relative url to the full url, although strangely enough, when trying to access the page from a dial-up connection it now takes several minutes(5-10 munutes!) to load the page (which is only 11kb total!). But if you hit reload, the page almost instantly shows up. On my relatively slow network connection it takes less than 5 seconds and no hitting the reload button is neccessary.
