Auto restart of Tomcat?

HI,
I am using Tomcat3.2.2 to develop a chat application.
I have noticed that sometimes when there is heavy load, the Tomcat server goes down. Is there any means by which i can restart the tomcat server if it goes down due to some exception or something...
