This week's book giveaways are in the Refactoring and Agile forums. We're giving away four copies each of Re-engineering Legacy Software and Docker in Action and have the authors on-line! See this thread and this one for details.
Can I invoke a servlet using an HTTP POST without the browser receiving a response and changing the contents of the page? I thought I read somewhere that POST could be used this way whereas GET would always change the page. I'm thinking of invoking the servlet from an HTML form or from an applet on the page. Thanks!
