Hi all,
If I add a new servlet to my web application's classes directory and if I modify my web.xml file, shall I need to restart Tomcat each and every time I add a new servlet entry ?
Why is it so ?
Do any one has a link where I can read more about this ?
Thanks,
Maya

Yes you have to restart Tomcat if you modify the web.xml file. It is so fast that I don't see that as a problem, and it saves lots of grief.
