how is JSP against ASP?? what are the extra features in JSP?

Obviously, you get to use Java and the huge array of Java libraries and toolkits, plus your application will run on all the major servers, such as Apache - not just on IIS on Windows.

Not only that , u get all the pro's of using java as a language in the first place .. that it is platform independant .. and lots of more things .. check for a full list.
