What is the problem here:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission pop3.mail.yahoo.com resolve)
I have no idea why id get that error!

I think we need a little more background. Are you trying to read or send mail? From an application or an applet or a servlet?
At what point in your code is the exception generated?
