can someone show me an example or 2 where i can take servlet output, say a String variable holding a name, and pass this to a variable in a pre-created HTML form.
i know i can use sendRedirect to direct my servlet to an HTML page, but, i'm not sure how to pass a dynamic value to the page.
please help.
Thanks

"almost-static" sounds similar to an old American joke, being "a little pregnant" Either she's pregnant or not, ha ha!
Why not make the HTML page a JSP with all the dynamic goodies accompanying such decision?
