The best thing i would suggest is to download the specifications of jsp1.2 and servlet2.3 from
java.sun.com/products/jsp/download.html and
java.sun.com/products/servlet/download.html
These specifications also include the documentation of the API.
Hope this helps,
Manjunath

Hi,
IMHO, the book from Marty Hall is a good one. http://www.coreservlets.com/

/ JeanLouis<br /><i>"software development has been, is, and will remain fundamentally hard" (Grady Booch)</i><br /> <br />Take a look at <a href="http://www.epfwiki.net/wikis/openup/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Agile OpenUP</a> in the Eclipse community

And if u are only interested in API reference, check that :
http://java.sun.com/products/servlet/2.2/javadoc/overview-summary.html
Cheers.

Also - Tomcat comes with a full set of JavaDocs for all the servlet and JSP classes. Very Handy. Like Manjunath says, everybody working with servlets should have copies of the APIs.
