Dear Friends,
I am using jrun as a add on server to my IIS 5.0 installed on Windows 2000 server.
I have not been able to make connection to SQL DATABASE while using jrun.Error is something like this:-
java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
A guy named Jim has said that this might be because of using user dsn instead of system dsn,but I am using system dsn and still getting trhe same error. While when i am using jndi to look up the dsn created by the jrun ,I still get the same kind of error, saying user with the mentioned username and password is not recognised by the database server.I also tried to make use of taglib provided by jrun was not able to make connection with the database.Just for testing sake i tried connecting to SQL DB through a simple jdbc application and was able to connect, while the same code put inside a servlet or jsp faills to run.Quite strange has any body got any answers. Please help.
