how can I control "excel" when I use setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel")

I am working with web print.I want to use setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel") to open the jsp file with excel
but How can I control "excel" in my jsp file?

Not sure what you mean by "control". Please explain what you want to do with your output. Here's an example test I did a while back:
