What are the advantages of having single controller(Servlet) to handle all client requests and forwarding them to corresponding handlers. Will it affect performance as all the request ar forwarded to single controller making it too heavy.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Remember that a new thread is created on the service method of your servlet to each new client, about the motivations and drawbacks of this pattern take a look at: http://java.sun.com/blueprints/patterns/j2ee_patterns/front_controller/index.html
regards.
