It was a long drive. I drove 60 miles at 30 miles per hour and then an additional 60 miles at 50 miles per hour. What was my average speed over the 120 miles.

Is this a homework for your kid, or is there a trick that I'm missing/
60 miles at 30mph will take 2 hrs
60 miles at 50mph will take 1.2 hrs
total time = 3.2 hrs
average speed = 120/3.2 = 37.5mph
