Four cars, A, B, C, and D, leave the same point, each traveling a different direction-North, South, East or West-at the same speed.
After one hour, car A makes a right turn, B makes a left turn, C makes a right turn, and D makes a left turn. After another hour, car A, B, and C all turn left, while car D turns right. After one more hour, car A turns left, cars B and C turn right and car D turns left.

If car A begins by traveling North and car C begins by traveling South, which one of the following scenarios is possible?

Choice 1
Car C ends up facing East
Choice 2
Car B ends up facing West
Choice 3
Car A ends up facing South
Choice 4
Car D ends up facing East
Choice 5
Car B ends up facing North

I feel choice 1 is correct and my friend feels choice 3 is correct.
