Hello,
If I've a user session object created in directory "A", the object stores user info, another directory "B" 's servlet want to use that session, normally it cannot be called. So can the object in directory "A" be transferred to "B" so all Servlet under directory "B" can recognise that object? My purpose is all user login (user and staff) process will be in /user directory, after that, if the user is staff, then the object created can be used by Servlet under /staff directory. Thanks

Thanks everyone who helped me

The servlet API is very strict about separation of web applications. There are plenty of alternatives - for example you might use one of the simple database systems such as HypersonicSQL to hold user information.

Thanks. currently i m using MySQL to store user info. My web app will just match username and password and create the userlog object so all servlet in the directory can check if the obj exist.
Is Hypersonic different from what im doing? Thanks
