I have a problem with breaking out of frames or setting the target to another frame.
When i post a form from the left hand side, I want to refresh and show the results in the right pane. Problem is, I can't use an <A HREF target=top> (i need to post form results back to the servlet). Also, javascript is supposed to be used sparingly, so I would like to avoid it if possible, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Right now I have the servlet going to a save method and then sendRedirect() to the frameset method, and of course it just loads the whole thing into the left pane!! I was hoping that I could put the link target in the sendRedirect(url) argument list, but it only accept an absolute url, not an HTML tag.
I am at a loss, any advice would be great! thanks, jodi

oops, brain freeze, you can just name the frames and set the target of the form
