I have an app that lets me upload files for later dispaly as a webpage. I can also upload images. However, I dont upload either into the actual web folder and I dont want to. I can get the html text to show up, but how do I get the pictures to show w/o them having to be in the web folder?
The files are uploaded to the server, just not the web folder.

Do you mean that you can get your browser to display the raw HTML source? Or you can get the browser to display the rendered page.

The answer doesn't really matter I suppose, because either way, you've gotten the browser to show something, so that means you must have served it with the web server. An image can be served up the same way. Not sure what the exact problem is... could you give a bit more detail?
