till know we were doing printing of browser page through window.print() command,in JSP.
But now we were using JSP's within the portlet par file. Now the problem is instead of printing only the text content of the tables it also prints the components(Gif's, Images, bars etc) used within the window.
Note :browser contents are not getting printed , onlt the window within the browser is getting printed.I need to print onlt the text content of the tables which is there in the form of report.
So can u suggest us a way to achieve our task of printing a page displayed on browser without printing the window contents.
waiting for ur quick reply

Some portals add a link to a "printable page" which renders the main text content instead of the page loaded with graphics.

which as a side effect allows you to log the number of people who care enough to print the stuff off.
I know I appreciate the care taken to make the printouts less full of rubbish that will snarl up the printer.
