Hi there I recently updated Tomcat from 3.3 to 4.08 in my Linux Machine(RH 7). The difference I noticed right away was that the standard out and error are not printed on the console anymore and are instead written in the log file (catalina.out by default). I find it way easier to see in on a sonsole. Is there anyway to configure Tomcat so I can see all the output on a console? Thank you, michiko
You can check the server.xml file under tomcat install directory\conf\

Thank you for the response. Well, maybe I was not clear. I know that you need to edit the server.xml. My question is that how I can edit the file so standard out & err is printed on the console...
