Was not sure whether session variables are
thread
safe since, each user has his own session variables ??? Pls do let me know.

Session variables are NOT inherently protected from being accessed by multiple Threads since a given user/browser may be running many requests from the same web application at the seme time.
For example, frames, requests for images, etc.
