Thanks for posting it in the right forum. I, on the other hand, posted mine in the wrong forum, see "Testing Smile html" in the JavaRanch forum.
By the way, nice last name. I like it!

When you compose or reply to a message, there is a link to the "Smilies Legend" it will take you to http://www.javaranch.com/ubb/smilies.html
I think mad smiley ( ) should be renamed psycho smiley.

I think a psycho smiley would have to be animated.

Hi:
not only smiles, there is also a great way of posting your message with colors, lists, code alignment, etc. etc
I have recently observed not many poeple use it, so I tend
to advertise this when possible. Hope you don't mind.
Esp. when you post source code, it helps a lot when the code
is easily readable... ...or so I think....

Just click on "Smilies Legend" when you post it'll tell you what you need to type.
BTW if you stare at this one long enough you will get a headache!

Why do the smilies do the same thing at the same time? For instance the razz smiley will stick out his tounge the same time any of the other smiley's stick out their tounge.
To answer my own question ... is it because all images are loaded at the same time. I must be tired...

Wouldn't it be nice to get those tongues to do the wave? Sticking out one after the other?
