Writing with one servlet in two different frames

There must be a search function but I couldn't find it :roll: so please excuse...
I want the result from one Servlet to be shown in two different frames. So the result is shown twice on the same site. How can I realize this?

If I understand your question, you could use JavaScript for this. Pass the servlet's info to the parent page (the one holding the frames), capture it in JavaScript variables, then have the child frames request those variables from the parent onLoad().

Sounds good, but as I'm still a greenhorn in the whole Servlet and java stuff I don't have any idea how to realize this. I know how to put the Servlet response into a frame, but how can I store it in a variable? Do you have any examples?
