multiple requests in IE

I have been noticing something sporadic in my
development enviornment. When I have IE as a client
"on some days" I seem to get duplicate requests from
the client. This happens only in doPost and not in
doGet method of the servlet. When I process the
request the first request comes in; the servelt does
what it does and then dispatches it to the JSP, and as
soon as that happens I get another request from the
same client. Some times it is an identical request and
some time it does not have some of the form parameters
I passed in. Most of the times the last parameter gets
messed up. They have some funky characters at the end.
Do any of you face this issue. I am using IE 5.50
Websphere 4.0 . My search on the web lead me to belive
it was bug in some versions of IE which caused this
problem during downloads. I have not seen nay posts
about form submissions.
Did any one have the same problems.
Any help appreciated
