Hello!
I have a problem with a loop in my servlet(doPost-method) when forwarding to a JSP-page. After the forward statement the whole doPost method is being executed 2 more times without getting any post-calls from the JSP-page. Anyone seen this phenomenon before?

The whole idea with forward is that your servlet will not do ANYTHING with the response after forwarding it. Your doPost should exit as gracefully as possible after the forward and certainly not continue in a loop.
