Howdy all!
I am trying to post to a web page but I don't want the page to open, either in the current window or a new one. Is this possibly???
What I am trying to do is:
1 have a user enter contact info
2 upon hitting submit, post the info to a url
3 not have the url open (in a page of the window)
4 automatically submit on the "posted" url
<FORM NAME="submitToCell" METHOD=POST ACTION="HREF=http://66.77.1.123/index.php?number=3193211010&message=testing&Send=submit">
Am I way off on this one?!?
Any help for this newbie would be much appreciated!!!

This question would fit better on the HTML/JavaScript board. Please post it there. Also, you are more likely to get an answer since the people there deal with these kinds of issues.

Layne (or anyone) would there be another way to do it?!? Maybe using java? a servlet perhaps?
I'll take any suggestions on alternative methods...
thanks

POST your form to a page that outputs this header to the browser
HTTP/1.0 204 No Content
I believe the user will remain on the page that sent the POST vars.

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
