Hi All,
How to store a file without popping up a Save as dialog, to the hard disk from a servlet?
Thanks

Storing a file is not possible unless the user allows you to do so. You can't store anything except some cookie values (if not prevented) into a user's hard disk silently.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
