Dear all,
I am reading about servlet 2.4 specification.
I have some confusions about request mapping..
1. Example if i have a request at address : http://localhost:8888/app/dir1/dir2/Main.servlet
What is the request object and context path from that request?
2. There is statement :
"A string containing only the / character indicates the "default" servlet of the
application. In this case the servlet path is the request URI minus the context
path and the path info is null."
What is the meaning of "default" servlet and path info?
thanks
daniel
