hi all
i thought of writing a ServletFilter to control access to the webapp.
can i do this with servlet filters ?
it should check for the presence of a valid user object in the session that belongs to the request and just let passs if this user object is there or forwards to the logon page if not there.
thanks
k

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
